Here from Denmark wish, Thisted Sailing Club all H-Boat sailors and their families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Thisted is the principle town in our region, Thy and here in Thisted we are looking forward to 2013, where the World Championships for H-Boats will be held. The World Championships 2013 will be a very special event for Thisted and we will make every effort to ensure that competitors, families, spectators, sponsors and others will experience the best World Championships the H-Boat Class has ever seen.
We will make a special effort to attract and indulge competitor’s families and relatives. There will be a large, exciting and varied program for families. As well as many activities by the harbour, there will also be inspiring excursions and experiences elsewhere in Thy. There will be activities and experiences both for children and adults, with opportunities to get on the water and follow the races or to follow the races live on the Internet, as there will be live streaming of all the races
There are no better racing conditions for sailors than those we offer in Thisted Bredning. Thisted Bredning is a protected part of the Limfjord and regardless of wind direction, sailing will remain close to the shore. The racing will take place in the Limfjord,on relatively flat water without large waves and no current. It is comparable to sailing on a large lake.

Korkeanpaikanleiri Tahkolla lähestyy. 24-27.1.2013 tavataan taas Puustilassa Nilsiän Tahkovuoressa. Ilmoittaudu NYT niin mahdut vielä mukaan. Ohjelmassa Eetu Vahteran sääntökoulutusta. Perehdymme uusiin uunituoreisiin sääntömuutoksiin ja saatavana on myös uusia sääntökirjoja. Tiedossa myös MM-kisainfo ja tulevan kesän ranking sarjan läpikäynti. Majoittuminen Puustilassa hintaan 150€/hlö sis- majoituksen, aamiaiset ja yhden iltaruokailun ja vähän virvokkeitakin. Tahkon talvipäivien päätteeksi selvisi, että kuusi Suomalaisvenekuntaa edustaa maatamme toukokuussa Itävallan Ebenseellä luokkamme MM-regatassa. MM-lähtijät ovat FIN-826 Pälviranta, FIN-892 Casen, FIN-949 Rönnholm, FIN-955 Hagström, FIN-956 Roschier ja FIN-957 Lindström/Salo.

Tahkolla varmistui myös Ranking-sarjan päivämäärät: Hki 30.6.-1.7., Hanko 6-8.7., SM Kokkola 2-5-8., Tre 25-26.8. ja lyhytrata Tre 1-2.9.

Suomen H-veneliitto haluaa onnitella H-veneen suuunnittelijaa ja luojaa Hans Groopia 80-vuotis syntymäpäivän johdosta.

H-veneilijöiden talvipäivät ovat parhaassa vauhdissa Tahkolla. Tänään on puitu toukokuun MM-kisojen haasteellisisa olosuhteita, kotimaan Rankinsarjaa sekä kaavailtu jo tulevienkin arvokisojen ajankohtia ja järjestäjämaita.
Rinteestä ”löytyi” myös uusi tiedottaja liitollemme. Jussi Karjalainen käy tuumasta toimeen heti kun Tahkolta kotiudutaan.
H-newsin mainos myynti on käynnissä ja juttuja työstetään. Kuvia viime kesältä voi itse kukin lähettää tulemaan joko jlind@planet.fi tai anne.punttila@painokotka.fi. Tahkolta lisä raporttia ensi viikolla.
